Paraffin wax goes hand in hand with holistic therapies and natural healing. As an add-on beauty treatment to your regular manicure and pedicure, it is surprising to see that many of us don’t know much about Paraffin and it’s healing properties. But first..
What is Paraffin?
Paraffin is a petroleum-based wax which is melted in a controlled temperature wax pot for continuous use.
What’s the Procedure?
Your hands and feet are dipped three times into the warm wax and are then covered with a plastic glove and towel. After a few minutes, the wax is cooled and gently pulled away from your skin, removing the dead skin cells and leaving nothing but moisture behind
The Benefits
Paraffin being a natural emollient, is exceptionally efficient in opening up pores, increasing blood circulation, improving skin color as well as soothing and moisturizing your skin. Paraffin is also extremely beneficial to dry skin as it adds a waterproof coating that helps retain your body’s natural oils.
